Is she a stripper in real life? Did she just want to show off her body? Is she an exhibitionist? Does she have a friend in the casting department? Was she just supposed to be an extra, then raised her hand when someone asked, “Does anyone want to dance and get naked?” These are the questions that run through Mr. Skin’s head, and unfortunately, until we run into Lina Marcela Parra at an airport, or grabbing coffee on the streets of Medellín in Colombia, we may never know the answers. What Mr. Skin does know, is that this spicy sizzler can keep a beat while untying the strings of her bikini. There’s a party going on in the crime, drama, romance movie Rosario Tijeras (2005) (Rosario Tijeras is the name of the film’s lead character, no translation necessary), and Lina, who is only credited as a dancer, is the main source of entertainment. There’s a crowd, several enthusiastic voyeurs, and one dude in sunglasses who may or may not be conscious. Lina starts by taking off her top, then her bottoms, throwing each piece of clothing at the sunglasses, with no reaction. Even when she grinds up on top of him, revealing her fine ass to the camera, he shows no signs of life. Even her tiny landing strip doesn’t evoke a response—from the guy on the screen; Mr. Skin, however… Lina keeps dancing, though, giving it her best effort, and delighting the men and women around her with her free-to-be-me nakedness. Mr. Skin loves a woman with confidence, and who raises her hand.
